Iphone 5 Revealed

It seems someone managed to smuggle one out of a factory in Jincheng, China. Not just parts, but an entire unit.
The phone seems complete and booting. It stops just before showing the unlock screen with this error:
This device is not registered as part of the iPhone Developer Program. If you are a member of the program, please register your device in the @@url@@.
After all the leaks it seems highly unlikely that this is any kind of prank or fake—unless Apple has played the biggest deception operation since the Allies made the Nazis believe that Operation Overlord was happening in another place.

Just some proof of what you will see on Sept. 12

Dominos DIY Pizza App

Domino's Game App

Everyone likes to order their pizza online because on the phone it can get a little noisy, annoying and especially if they put you on hold. Domino pizza has found a nice way for you to order your pizza using your Ipad with an game app that lets you create, custom and send your order for pickup or delivery to your nearest (chosen) domino's and still play it as a game.

Players can compete in making their own pizza just like in real time, just like the domino's workers they have time to track and chop all of the materials needed for the pizza, making it as real as the workers go threw everyday and teaching you a lot more than just making pizzas.  The app is likely the first of its kind to mix the game with a real ordering time sequence  but its not the first pizza app. domino's meanwhile lets you also play the game online at domino's.com or make or order a pie. :)

Locating your lost Android phone using Plan B

Android: If you ever lose your phone and don't have a contingency plan in place, you can remotely install Plan B on your phone and locate it instantly.

We've featured a few ways to find your lost or stolen phone, but they all require that you set up the system beforehand. Plan B, on the other hand, lets you remotely install it using the Android Market Web and immediately sends you the phone's coordinates after it does. You don't need to configure it, create an account, or do anything else—-its location will just show up in your Gmail. It'll track your phone for 10 minutes, emailing you updates if it moves, after which you can just text the word "Locate" to your phone to track it again. For some phones, it can even turn on GPS if it's turned off (though it'll need an internet connection if you're installing the app remotely).

It doesn't have any of the data wiping or other mobile security that something like Prey would, but if you never installed a security app to begin with, it's a good second plan of attack in finding your phone. Plan B is a free download for Android 2.0 and up.

Jail Break your Iphone 3G

The iPhone hacking faithful can now unlock and jailbreak their original iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPod Touch 1G devices with the much-awaited PwnageTool 3.1. Unfortunately, the
hacking tool does not yet support the iPhone 3GS or the new iPod Touch, but an update is expected soon.

Arriving only a week after Apple released the 3.1 software update for the iPhone and iPod Touch, DevTeam has set free Pwnage Tool 3.1. The software allows you to create and install custom firmware packages to jailbreak your Apple device and also use SIM cards from carriers other than AT&T (or the original carrier you purchased your iPhone from).

Pwnage Tool 3.1 is only available to users of the original iPhone, the iPhone 3G, and the first-generation iPod Touch. The DevTeam says on their page that Apple is making it increasingly difficult to hack the iPhone 3GS and the second-gen iPod Touch with each new firmware update the company is launching.

The DevTeam advises those who SIM unlocked their 3.0 software on the iPhone 3GS not to upgrade to Apple's official 3.1 firmware but to wait until they come up with a solution, which is expected in the coming weeks. The same applies for iPod Touch second-generation users.

As usual, a kind reminder that jailbreaking your iPhone or iPod touch is not something that Apple likes you to do and it will void your warranty. But if you know what you are doing (and follow the instructions closely) Pwnage Tool will give you access to the Cydia app store, a place full of apps that allow you to further customize your iPhone and also use many of the apps that Apple rejected from its own app store.

IHologram

David OReilly created a concept application for the iphone/ipod touch.Which gives the illusion of a kitty or other characters to move around and rotates it everytime you move the phone. Really an amazing application I woun't mind paying a few pennies for it.
"The application works by assuming a constant viewing angle (35-45 degrees), typical for when the device is placed on a tabletop. The 3d scene’s perspective is warped using anamorphosis, the same technique used in Hans Holbein’s painting The Ambassadors. This application does the exact same but updates dynamically."
An amazing concept and an idea that artist and computer geeks can create with new media and putting there hearts and crazy brains put together.

LOST OR STOLEN Iphone ?

I know its a drag to think anyone would steal a phone but when it comes to ipods and iPhone, you have to admit "once its gone...ITS GONE!!" and there's no way you can get it back. BUT good new for those with the new iPhone 3.0 OS which is teaming up with Microsoft's MOBILE ME application on your computer and apple.

The feature is a BETA version application which is revealed by The Boy Genius report appears in the configuration settings for mobile ME on the iPhone to push updates for mail, contacts, calendar, and bookmarks and much more. The last setting list displays a control for the activation of "find my iPhone".

Once this feature is activated, log into your mobile ME account at me.com and that service will obtain your iPhone current location, a small feature that nonetheless may help improve the software suite that started out as a embarrassment to apple.
