Prey App


As mentions before, protecting your devices from dropping, water, and heating is just the tip of the iceberg. When investing in your important toys you must also protect them from unwanted hands (robbers) and as we mentions do you back in December, 2010, The Prey app still holds a big win on protecting, scanning and finding your lost/stolen device.

Prey Anti-Theft is an application that attempts to remove the potential pain and heartbreak of losing your handset. Once installed, it waits for an activation SMS message - which you can select when you configure the app - and then kicks into action. The idea being that when you realize your phone is stolen of missing, you send an SMS containing the activation message to your phone number, and then Prey automatically uses the handset's GPS signal (or Wi-Fi) to relay its present location to the main Prey website.

Key Ring App



The majority of us probably have had at one time or another a loyalty reward card from a store or two. You know, those little plastic debit cards or the miniscule keychain version. From there it just snowballs. Next thing you know, you've got 20 of those little plastic nusiances hanging from your key chain. Make you feel like a janitor with a bunch of junk hanging from your keychain or wallet "poor butt"

Key Ring Loyalty Cards, by Mobestream Media, states you can simply scan (yes SCAN!) or type the barcode number into the app to add all each of your cards. After you've added your cards you'll instantly receive coupons (in the app that are available to print) if any are available.

Its a pritty useful tool, and I have downloaded it myself and test out the barcodes and it works fine. I like the fact that my wallet finally feels skinny and slim and I don't have to take it out of my back pocket to sit down for
