Samsung and Korea Saving Lives A Bridge At A Time

South Korea has one of the highest suicide rates in the world and the most popular method to end one’s life seems to be jumping off a bridge. The one with the highest mortality rate is Mapo Bridge over the Han River. So what can be done about this tragic situation? The government could put up borders, but people determined the end their lives will find a way around those. From this question came a partnership with Samsung to come up with a creative way to deter jumpers.

Now, when a person walks across the Mapo Bridge, positive messages light up from motion detectors which ask the people whether they are okay, whether they need to talk to someone, and showing them that they aren’t quite as alone as they think they are. The bridge also shows pictures of happy moments and pictures, perhaps to try and trigger moments in the person’s life where they may have experienced joy. The goal was to get the person to walk from one end of the bridge to the other, keeping them from making a tragic decision in a fleeting, lonely moment.

Since the installation of the bridge, suicide rates have dropped by 77%. The plan is now to put installations such as this one in other major bridges in the country.

What turkey day?

Yes so today (thursday) i just relaxed and decided to finally finish my silent hill game which was dam hard and dam cool seeing that girl shooting this HUGE woman like called "god" which really reminds me of church when i was a little kid and ...well i passed it. The next thing i was doing is formating my whole hard drive and install 2 Operating systems in one hard drive which are

• Windows XP
• Windows Vista Ultimate

Even if i did partition my hard drives in half i still think i should buy a spare TERABITE for this computer but its not worth it if its going to run vista slow (dam ram capasity) anyways if you guys would like to know how to partition your hard drive without setting your BIOS you shouldwait until monday so i can gather information and be sure im typing it right. :D

But before we get any further, i would like to talk about couples and when one of them leaves the love field and search himself , im sure we all have been there "you just dont act the same?" or "i feel like im waisting my time with you" these are the most common thinkings spouses think when they know they cant no longer stay with the opposite and decide to leave. The real questions they are looking for is

"WHY IS MY LOVE LIFE GETTING SO LOW AND DOWN?"

Ill tell you why? YOU are not keeping yourself busy and instead of looking of what you got you keep waiting for that best part of your life to be fresh and become so clean that its imposible for us to figure out that "us humans ,we are never satisfied" and you know this is true.This is why i alwasy tell couples once they move in together "you guys are basicly married now and expect some downfalls" but here area  few guides that will keep your mind out of those issues that will eventually take care of themselfs.

• Join a group-It doent have to be a shrink,it can be the gym or a book club,just be sure you get some stuff done of your own and learn and grow so you can show your partner and yourself what new things can come from it.
• ME TIME-Take a walk by yourself or just take a drive BY YOURSELF,this is a great way to give your spouse time and space and think of the wonderful things you got and what you can do to improve it and also how to improve yourself. Maybe you can plan a romantic dinner while shes/hes away. 
• Dont Break the Rules-Even if you like to be in the single world keep in mind that you have limited and restricted yourself from doing things like (kissing other people and having sex with them) unless your spouse approves. Just be strong minded and dont confuse your piece of mind as an opportunity to find another person. If you both think like that,the its a set for both parties and continue your own ways.
• THINK POSITIVE-Alot of people dont appreciate what they got and they slack off or think they are now want to give up what they got to find something better,this is when you think negative and say "I dont like using this anymore,i want something new" 

Talking about Positive?

Remember that just because you got a partner that cooks and cleans doent mean that you have to stop doing those things, be sure to do what is best for him and her and also disipline yourself to work hard so you dont ever fail on anything. Do things that you know YOU WILL NOT REGREAT but say to yourself "i did my best to love you and thats all that matters" The way you treat him and her DOES MATTER, so when you take that "me time" really think of how you treat him/her.

Making Problems?
We all know that sometimes we dont get our way and we do things to make them do it,heres an example
"james i want to go to bed,lets go to bed?" and hes just want to stay in the couch and you begin to get mad,NOW SERIOUSLY, WHY WOULD YOU GET MAD IF HE DOENT WANT TO COME CUDDLE WITH YOU OR GO TO BED? you already know by now that we all think diffrent and sometimes we get mad because our spouse is not following our orders.
Try to calm down and undertand his wishes and instead of saying "you are worthless,im breaking up with you and im leaving"  instead of that think positive and say  "I know you are probrally wanting time to yourself honey, i'll go and read a book and see you in the morning" it may be hard and you could eventually lie to yourself but be sure that you ALSO use the rules i listed UP THERE so you dont feel like you are beeing abondoned by your lover.

These items may or may not work but always think positive and never let yourself down if things dont work.

ALWAYS GROW AND ALWAYS LEARN NEW THINGS so you can see what you never knew before.

No Job but still learning

To today is Monday morning and i forgot to take out the garbage "ops" my tank is so full i just hope the dam truck guy comes back and takes mine. I haven't slept yet since Sunday afternoon and that's because my back started to hurt from this stupid computer chair that is too big and too old for my back,if i do sit straight i got this HUGE space between the chair bed and my back and when i do sit down fully in the back i cant reach the keyboard to type and you're probrabrally saying "you could put the laptop in your lap?" lol and ya i could do that but then i  got wires going threw the laptop,the dam thing gets hot and then when i want to get up or take a zip of my coffee i have to take lots of caution.

Well in other news we are getting lots of stuff done and one of the bigest problems im coming across on our team is that we dont have a server to share files and sync information back and fort to each other, thats why im setting up my computer that was collecting dust partacles to run a server threw our network system and use everything and get work done.
This server does have the following

• Office 20003
• Adobe Lightroom
• MS Accounting 
• Photoshop cs3
• SD Card Recovery
• Media Center

And much more, be sure that its also virus free and has all the patches and updates nessasary to run our server to
full speed. The advantages we get from this is performing task and sending important date as well as productivity to the server for the manager or the system administator to read and keep track of the asses and payroll. The great thing of this ofcourse had to be that...YOU CAN ACCESS IT ANYWERE with just a screen name and password from me. :D

the beauty of creating a workspace and share it with your team count be more fun and also sharing the same programs that they cant use or dont have makes life alot better to see improvement.

This for a fact will do the following.

• Keep a fresh report on all activity
• The ability to use programs that they dont have
• The ability to create invoices and send data threw the server and for me to look at
• The ability to access the nessasary files and download to get the job done
• To share files and fun stuff with each other

Today i woke up really early and was full of energy since I've finally gotten some sleep and got my clients happy for doing what i do best. So Miguel came over and he studied for a bit and headed to the clinic to take his hepatitis shot and he also thew me the surprise for me to take an HIV test which i didn't mind because its been like 2.5 years since my last one.

Course i was fine but i need to get schedule a date for my hepatitis shots so i don't get them and im actually going to post some information about   the causes and such among gay men,course it can also apply to st8 people since it is a virus.Just like a computer,you have to keep checking yourself and keep yourself safe.

Men who have sex with men (MSM) are at increased risk of becoming infected with both the hepatitis B virus (HBV) and the hepatitis A virus (HAV). Although these viruses can be transmitted in different ways, both can be spread through sexual activity.

Hepatitis is a serious disease that can be fatal. Fortunately, both hepatitis B and hepatitis A can be prevented by safe and effective vaccines. Unfortunately, many men at risk remain unprotected.

What is hepatitis B?
Hepatitis B is a sexually transmitted disease caused by a virus (HBV) that attacks the liver. The virus is found in the blood and semen of infected men and is spread in the same manner as HIV. HBV is easier to catch than HIV because it is more than 100 times more concentrated in an

infected person's blood and can exist on surfaces outside the body.

What is hepatitis A?
Hepatitis A is a liver disease caused by a virus (HAV). The virus is found in the feces (shit) of an infected person. It is easily spread by household or sexual contact with an infected person.

How great is my risk of getting HBV or HAV infection?
About 5% of people in the U.S. will get infected with HBV sometime during their lives. MSM are 10 to 15 times more likely to acquire HBV infection than the general population.

In 2001 an estimated 93,000 persons in the U.S. were infected with HAV. Persons who engage in anal pleasuring activities such as rimming and fingering are at increased risk.

How are HBV and HAV spread?
An HBV-infected man can spread the virus to another person by

* having unprotected anal or vaginal sex
* sharing needles for drugs, piercing, or tattooing
* coming in contact with the infected person's open sores or blood
* sharing toothbrushes, razors, nail clippers, etc.
* biting another person

HBV can also be spread by living in a household with a chronically infected person.

HAV is usually transmitted from particles of fecal material too small to be seen, for example, by eating or drinking contaminated food or water or during sex.

What are the symptoms of hepatitis B and hepatitis A?
The symptoms of both diseases are similar: extreme tiredness, nausea, fever, dark urine, bloated and tender belly, and yellowish-tinged skin and eyes. Infected persons can have no symptoms at all or be extremely ill. However, people who are infected with either HBV or HAV can spread the disease to others, whether they have symptoms or not.

Do people fully recover from HBV and HAV infections?
Most adults recover from HBV infection after several months and are no longer contagious. Unfortunately, about 2%-6% of adults who become infected with HBV will carry the virus in their bodies for years and remain infectious. Chronically infected people usually do not have symptoms, but are at increased risk for eventual liver failure (cirrhosis) and liver cancer and need ongoing medical care. About 1.25 million people in the U.S. (and 350 million in the world) are chronically infected.

Although HAV does not result in chronic infection, infected people can become very sick and sometimes die.

How serious are HBV and HAV infections?
HBV infection can cause serious liver disease, including liver failure and liver cancer. More than 5,000 people in the U.S. die every year from hepatitis B-related liver disease.

There are approximately 100 deaths each year in the U.S. from hepatitis A. About 15% of people with hepatitis A require hospitalization. Adults who become ill are often out of work for several weeks.

Becoming infected with HBV or HAV can have a major impact on a person's life. A person might be too sick to work or go to the gym for months, and should not drink alcohol. HAV and HBV infection can have serious consequences for people with HIV, as their immune systems might be compromised.
How can I protect myself from HBV infection?

* Get the hepatitis B shots
* Practice safer sex
* Tell your friends at risk to get vaccinated against hepatitis B

How can I protect myself from HAV infection?

* Get the hepatitis A vaccine
* Tell your friends at risk to get vaccinated against hepatitis A

How do I know if I have or have had HBV or HAV infection?
The only way to know for sure is to have your blood tested.

Should I have my blood tested before getting vaccinated?
Discuss this with your doctor to decide if it is appropriate to perform blood tests first. If you have already been infected with HAV or HBV, getting the vaccines will not help or hurt you.

How many shots do I need to be protected against HBV and HAV infections?
The hepatitis B vaccine series consists of three doses spaced out over approximately 6 months.

The hepatitis A series consists of two doses given 6-18 months apart. If you started either series but didn't get all the doses, you should continue where you left off.

A combined hepatitis A and hepatitis B vaccine has been developed for adults who need protection against both HAV and HBV infections. This vaccine consists of three doses given over a 6-month period.

Are these shots safe? Do they have any side effects?
Both hepatitis A and hepatitis B vaccines have been proven to be safe. Globally, more than one billion hepatitis B vaccine doses have been given. Since 1995, more than seven million doses of hepatitis A vaccine have been given in the U.S. with no reports of serious health problems linked to the vaccine. Side effects might include soreness at the injection site, headache, and fatigue.

Are these shots effective?
Yes. After three doses of hepatitis B vaccine, at least 90% of healthy young adults develop immunity to HBV infection. Immune compromised people might not respond as well to hepatitis B vaccine. They should be tested 1-2 months after the third dose of vaccine to see if they responded.

Almost 100% of people are protected from HAV infection after getting two doses of hepatitis A vaccine.

Will hepatitis A or hepatitis B vaccine protect me from hepatitis C?
No. Hepatitis A, B, and C are all different viruses. The hepatitis C virus is spread through body fluids, and although it can be transmitted through sexual contact, it is most commonly acquired through injection drug use. Unfortunately, there is no hepatitis C vaccine at this time.

Are these shots recommended for travelers?
Both HAV and HBV infection are common in many parts of the world. People traveling to any area of the world except the United States, Canada, Western Europe, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia should get vaccinated against HAV. Hepatitis B vaccine is recommended for many travelers also. Discuss this with your doctor.

Where can I receive these shots?
Talk to your health care professional or your local public health department.

Today i went to Javier house to watch a movie with the fags and order pizza just to see how fast they can make it and if they pass half hour we would complain and get a discount "fun hu?" this is exacly what you do when you dont have a life and your friends are a little crazy.

Another thing that we did after the movie was done was check out Javiers porno collection and nothing sais "hello" like a HUGE penis popping out of projector into a white wall, i gave him files so i wasn't very entertained (plus i wasnt alone) lol .I mean,who watches porno with there buddies? The whole thing felt weird and i my friend Daniel sure didn't care about it one bit.

The night was done and we left a mess and split before javier made us clean after ourselves and  headed home,but i didn't go home to sleep...NOOOOoooOOOoo this bitch got some coffee from MCDONALD like a fat bitch and started doing some designs.

This new design i did was for "The Jakobi Show" an advertising poster that im sure will be put into good use and a new collection on my room Wall. Nothing Creams at a room like a gallery or fun ideas and creativity.

PLAY 2 LEARN

Sometimes i like to sleep late because i have a really good dream and i want to know what happends next. Today i woke up knowing that i was at this BIG club with several of my friends and we found this really HOT GUY who was in control of the main owner of the club, we made him come to his sences and our mission is to escape from the club.
As we ran out we encountered people that were trying to stop us but we either slice there necks or so on, My favorite part was when we were trying to get tons of girls (me and the hot guy) to trap them all in a room so i had the idea of him stripping for them and he said "im not going to get completely naked" and i smiled and said "i dont care what u do,he need these bitches here" lol and so i ran and told  the girls "my friends really hot and hes taking off his clothes" and they get super excited following


me, as i keeped coming in and out of the room he was getting down from one scrap of fabric to another and told me "hurry up".

So at last i got the last girl group but they were with 2 gay guys ive seen before and told them about it, i never knew the gay guys would go more crazy for this guy and the ran leaving me behind "holy shit" lol so i ran back and the whole room was packed and i was squeezing my way into the crowed so i can get the hot guy out of the room and lock them hoes. I pushed and pulled people to get threw and when i saw HIM, he was completely naked and DAM HE WAS FINE but i pretended it was nothing as i hand him a towel, he got all shy  and we got out locking the door with all the girls and we ran.
As we ran he said "I know you saw it -"  i interrupted him and said "OH like if its that big" and he smiles and goes "I guess you dont know whats big for you" and so we go downstairs to the dance floor.

Once we headed down at the party it was like a corn maze but with people, It was dark and people dancing and gogo dancers on polls but we knew he had to meet up at some spot to meet the other guys, so we did and everyone was waiting "he have to get out, the guards are scanning and stoping everyone to see if its HIM (pointing at the hot guy) and so we said "we split up and find the door with light and we flash these flash lights to communicate , so we split and i was with moises to find the door.

As we headed to each coner of the building we saw that guards started to take there knifes and cutting peoples heals on there foot so they count go anywere and grabed young hot guys and see if it was us "they had pictures of us? how did they get pictures of us" i told moises "I dont know probrally from the cameras" he responded.

I knew it was a trap as 3 guards came threw every coner and finally one of them caught up to us,he was getting ready to slice my knee and right after he lifted that knife moises puched him in the stomach  and i grabed his the weapon to slice his neck, as his blood squirted and he was clutching down as the other 2 guards ran to us and i just go "I dont know what happend,he just had the knife and it fell on his neck" so the guards were trying to help their friend and left us there, so i go "LETS FOLLOW THEM AND FLASH THE LIGHTS TO THE GUYS".  Moises flashed everyone and everyone responded,we followed the guards and saw the door
with the light, as we ran together the hot guy droped his towel that was the only thing covering him and as we ran everyone started staring and the guards realized who we were but it was too late, we got threw the door and we escaped.


THEN I WOKE UP  because people were calling my cell phone :(  I was like "DAM IT, I WANTED TO MAKE OUT WITH THAT NUDE HOT GUY WE RESCUEDED RRRRRRr!!!!!!!

I cant believe playing with dreams would teach you a few things about team play and using a hot guy to trap woman at a small room.I guess beautiful things could be deadly in a way we would never undertand.

Backwards Never Fun

Today i woke up ready and fresh for work (since i sleeped all day yesterday) I got dressed and got my lunch,my fully charged i-pod and my breakfast and headed out the door. It was an original day, nothing new and was happy to know that i was doing good in my scanning area. I did feel weird as i walked around my station and while i was grabing books and i didnt pay too much attention.

Later on i started to bitch about my underwear giving me a wegie cause i was trying new underwear and desided to wear these blue boxers i got. So im here bitchin at my friends and trying not to pick my underwear everytime i bend down to get a book and stand up. Its super embarasing picking ur wegie and someone seeing you lol so i left it alone. lol

Again i was buged and i hated it!!!!

Later on i was telling my friends "these underwears are going down the garbage when i get home" and so they laugh at me and told me to burn them instead.
So just a few minutes ago i came from work got into the shower and notice that i was wearing my underwear BACKWARDS. lol After that view and experience everything just made sence. I told myself "NO WONDER!!!" So i felt better about my choice of wardrove and felt stupid and laughed at myself for doing that.

So now i have to be more careful and check if its correct when i put them on....I think i was in a hurry when i put them on. lol YES I WAS! i take showers everyday. lol

The sensations is unstopable.

It was a distraction and im biting my nails by now and i want to be cured from this love that he put in my heart and i say to myself "he deserves to be happy more than any other people in this earth" so i stared at the ground and i left him like new behind me.

YOU WILL SEE HOW MY WOUNDS WILL HEAL AND SEE HOW LIFE IS GOING TO CONTINUE JUST LIKE IT WAS BEFORE.

I know the reason i got this feeling and i dont need a doctor to be healed and everythign will pass and make the sunshine rise once again, little by little i will bring my smile back to this ocean of i once belonged to and if my love speaks another language then i would let those words out and feel what i need to feel to be happy.

I will try to heal your broken soul but my hands are not fully healed themselfs from the past and we are both left broken in this dark ground so i keep trying and trying to fully heal you but theirs this part of your soul that just wont heal and i wonder "what can i do to make you like new" So i traveled the world and search in every rock and finally got the cure and when i return i dont see you anywere. Sudently this feeling i once had turned cold and my soul is no longer shinning wondering were my love had went and wondering were i could find it. I search yet again just to realized that i was weak and slowly waisting myself from the search before and gave up. Is it so hard to let distance and time come between us?

At first i got lost in your eyes and tried to block you from my heart, then i fell for you and let you in without warning healing your wounds and show you how wonderful life is...yet i keeped trying to make you happy that i lost myself in that journey and ended up losing myself and my love.
So broken and yet so weak , i try to get what is left of me and say what i once said before....

"YOU WILL SEE HOW MY WOUNDS WILL HEAL AND SEE HOW LIFE IS GOING TO CONTINUE JUST LIKE IT WAS BEFORE."

but life's not the same and by this time i realized that my nails i onced bit are healing but still have the scars from before and i tried to smile but that smile just turned into a lie that made me feel worse. So i cry and wish for another day to come and hoping for my love to come find me.


So till this day i will wait for you and i will not let you down, with this broken soul and these scars i promised to wait for you and hope you realized how much i tried to make you happy but yet lost what i loved the most doing it. Leason i leared was "you dont need something bad to happend for it to go down hill" and you dont need a reason to let someone love you and just do what is best....and soon you will see how that smile will come back and how that life you once had will come back and if HE DOES COME FIND YOU, MAKE HIM HAPPY AND NEVER DO ANYTHING TO HURT HIM.
